Pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal Insights into the Every\u00adday Life of Psy\u00adchi\u00adatric Hos\u00adpi\u00adtals<\/b><br><br>The\u00admat\u00adic Focus edit\u00aded by Andrea Kuckert<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This issue of <em>Curare<\/em> focus\u00ades on pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtions from the 36th con\u00adfer\u00adence of the Ass\u00adco\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion for Anthro\u00adpol\u00ado\u00adgy and Med\u00adi\u00adcine (AGEM), orga\u00adnized by edi\u00adtor Andrea Kuck\u00adert togeth\u00ader with Ehler Voss in coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion with the col\u00adlab\u00ado\u00adra\u00adtive research plat\u00adform Worlds of Con\u00adtra\u00addic\u00adtion (WOC) at the Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Bre\u00admen and the Alexius\/Josef Hos\u00adpi\u00adtal in Neuss. From Novem\u00adber 16\u201317, 2024, the con\u00adfer\u00adence in Neuss explored facets of coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion in every\u00adday psy\u00adchi\u00adatric hos\u00adpi\u00adtal life from var\u00adi\u00adous per\u00adspec\u00adtives, focus\u00ading on the (a)symmetries of the rela\u00adtion\u00adship between physi\u00adcians and patients. One aim of the con\u00adfer\u00adence was to bring togeth\u00ader rep\u00adre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtives from anthro\u00adpo\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal dis\u00adci\u00adplines and those from med\u00adi\u00adcine and nurs\u00ading to engage in dia\u00adlogue on a&nbsp;clas\u00adsic top\u00adic in med\u00adical anthro\u00adpol\u00ado\u00adgy, in the spir\u00adit of pub\u00adlic anthro\u00adpol\u00ado\u00adgy. We are delight\u00aded that in Neuss, in addi\u00adtion to col\u00adleagues from acad\u00ade\u00admia, prac\u00adti\u00adtion\u00aders from the nurs\u00ading pro\u00adfes\u00adsions in par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar shared their expe\u00adri\u00adences and agreed to put their thoughts into writ\u00ading for this pub\u00adli\u00adca\u00adtion.
