Corona Diaries Project

On 18 March, the edi­to­r­i­al board called for (auto-)ethnographic diaries in the strict sense of the term, which record what hap­pens in one’s own envi­ron­ment and thus gen­er­ate ethno­graph­ic mate­r­i­al that makes it pos­si­ble to col­lec­tive­ly recon­struct in ret­ro­spect what is not com­pre­hen­si­ble at the moment of the crisis.

In Octo­ber 2020, the edi­to­r­i­al team of Curare hast start­ed pub­lish­ing the Coro­na Diaries they had col­lect­ed in the months before on boasblogs.org.

Select­ed diaries were pub­lished in con­densed and expand­ed form in the spe­cial issues 43 (2020), Curare Coro­na Diaries I, and 44 (2021), Curare Coro­na Diaries II.
