Welcome to this hybrid Medical Humanities Seminar, hosted by the Medical Humanities Node at the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences, Lund University.
Ericka Johnson, Professor of Gender and Society at Linköping University and author of A Cultural Biography of the Prostate (MIT Press) willpresent the results of a multi-sited, interdisciplinary medical humanities project on the aging prostate. The seminar will also cover some of the research practicalities, challenges and opportunities that became apparent during the project, opening for a discussion about how medical humanities research could be done in the Swedish academic structures today.
