Film sub­mis­sions for the 41st edi­tion of the Jean Rouch Inter­na­tion­al Film Fes­ti­val are now open! The dead­line is Novem­ber, 15th 2021.
The fes­ti­val will be held from May 5–12, 2022, at the Musée du quai Bran­ly – Jacques Chirac (Paris), which is becom­ing the new venue and part­ner of the festival.

Film sub­mis­sions for the 41st edi­tion of the Jean Rouch Inter­na­tion­al Film Fes­ti­val are now open! The dead­line is Novem­ber, 15th 2021.
The fes­ti­val will be held from May 5–12, 2022, at the Musée du quai Bran­ly – Jacques Chirac (Paris), which is becom­ing the new venue and part­ner of the festival.
Sub­mis­sions are to be made via Film­Free­way plat­form by click­ing here. Com­plete reg­u­la­tions and eli­gi­bil­i­ty require­ments are avail­able on the platform.

• The JRIFF’s pro­gram­ming is focused on films that exam­ine issues in the social sci­ences and human­i­ties, through both their pur­pose and approach. All for­mats and/or top­ics are welcome.
• The offi­cial selec­tion con­sists of three sec­tions: Inter­na­tion­al Com­pe­ti­tion, A Focus on the Liv­ing World, Shared Experiences.
• Works must have been pro­duced after Sep­tem­ber 1st, 2020.
• Works must be sub­mit­ted with either French or Eng­lish sub­ti­tling (if the orig­i­nal lan­guage is not French).

We are look­ing for­ward to receiv­ing your sub­mis­sions and watch­ing your films!

And, final­ly, don’t for­get our anniver­sary edi­tion, which will be held from 18 Novem­ber to 3 Decem­ber 2021. We are very proud to cel­e­brate our 40th anniver­sary with a num­ber of non-com­pet­i­tive events: ret­ro­spec­tives, trib­utes, a new strand about sound cre­ation, and the „Regards Com­parés” pro­gramme ded­i­cat­ed to the Niger Riv­er. We are look­ing for­ward to see­ing you. The pro­gramme will soon be online !!!!
