In 2021, the World Health Assembly approved the Global Digital Health Strategy 2020–25 to promote a coordinated and equitable digital transformation of health. Objective 4 of the strategy emphasizes the importance of addressing gender equality and health equity to ensure digital technologies work for all. Working with the World Health Organisation, we reviewed how 20 national strategies address gender, inclusion and rights and have recommendations to WHO, national governments, international organisations, and civil society.
